It is not easy in today's world; that promotes "me-ism" to remember to give. Paradoxically, by giving of ourselves, our time; energy; ideas; and economic resources we benefit ourselves also. The positive feelings that come from the act of giving do not just benefit the receiver, they benefit the giver also. Saskia Carrera-Bosquez May 1999 | Those of us that watched the Latin "Premio Lo Nuestro" Awards this week will be familiar with the Brasilian Group, "So Pra Contrariar". However, if you weren't able to watch them, note that this group was nominated for several awards at this year's ceremony, and it is just a matter of time before more of the population "discovers" their talent. Their music is a blend of danceable/yet soothing Latin and Brasilian Jazz rhythyms. Their CD is available at most music stores for a price range between $12.99 and 16.99 (San Antonio,TX). In your local area, look under International or Latin Music for the CD available under the same name as the group.
